The June 14, 2013 afternoon walk from Fairfield to Vacaville was really, really hot. We made it about ten miles before we stumbled upon a watering hole called “The Cabin” and had to make a stop. Because we only have 34 miles left to go before Thursday, we took advantage of The Cabin atmosphere and chatted up the locals about the cause. We just may have recruited some more people to next Thursday’s final mile.
